Each year, over 2,200 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in Wales and it is currently the fourth most common cancer in this country. Although over 900 people die from the disease each year, early diagnosis can make a huge difference in treating and curing this disease.
Pharmacy has an important role to play in supporting work to save lives and improving the quality of life of all those affected by bowel cancer. April is bowel cancer awareness month, so join us on this webinar where we will identify some key resources available to you to support you in your roles.
The first part of the session will be aimed at the workforce in all sectors.
The second part of the session will focus specifically on community pharmacy settings, however staff working in all sectors are welcome to stay for awareness of these initiatives.
