Description
OVERVIEW:
Acne, or acne vulgaris, is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that most commonly affects the face, back and chest. It is a common skin condition where up to 95% of adolescents in Western industrialised countries are thought to be affected by it. Around 20 to 35% develop moderate or severe acne. Self-help techniques may benefit patients, although some may also need additional medical treatment.
Rosacea is also a chronic, inflammatory skin condition although it predominantly affects the face. The exact cause is unclear, however, it is thought to involve genetic and environmental risk factors. The management of rosacea includes a range of options including self-management options as well as medical treatment.
Join us on this webinar where we will give an overview of both conditions as well as highlight key aspects of the recent NICE guidance update.
