Overview
This learning programme has been designed to raise the awareness of measles with healthcare professionals involved in advising the public. The aim is to provide a brief update on the management and prevention of measles and appropriate advice to minimise the further spread of this highly communicable disease.
Learning objectives
By the end of this module, participants should be able to:
- Describe the symptoms, complications and management of measles.
- Identify the risks of contracting measles at home and for travellers.
- Describe the MMR childhood vaccination programme.
This learning programme should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
