This learning programme has been designed to raise the awareness of meningitis with healthcare professionals involved in advising the public. The aim is to provide a brief update on the management and prevention of meningitis and appropriate advice to minimise the further spread of this disease.

- Identify the routes of transmission for all types of meningitis;
- Understand the meningitis vaccination programme;
