This learning programme has been designed to raise the awareness of rotavirus with healthcare professionals involved in advising the public. The aim is to provide a brief update on the prevention, management and appropriate advice to minimise the further spread of rotavirus.

- Describe the symptoms, complications and management of rotavirus
- Identify the routes of transmission for rotavirus
- Understand the rotavirus vaccination programme
- Understand the role of all healthcare professionals in detecting and supporting patients with suspected rotavirus.
