Description
This module is endorsed by Public Health Wales and The Wales Postgraduate Deanery as fulfilling the requirements for level 2 training in safeguarding children for Healthcare Professionals in Wales. It has been designed to raise your awareness of child abuse and neglect; and understand your responsibility in making a child protection referral in context of current legislation for 'safeguarding children'.
The Assessment is the only mandatory part of this module (minimum pass 70%). It is recommended that you check the learning resources before attempting the assessment.
Please note that the assessment is required regardless of when you last passed it as it was decided by the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer and the Local Health Boards that Safeguarding should be brought in line with initial accreditation/reaccreditation via the new NESA process.
