Reaccreditation for Enhanced Services

We apologise for any upset that the recent email you have received regarding reaccreditation for enhanced services may have caused. The intention behind the email was to inform those who were due to expire for certain enhanced services, to allow them to complete the reaccreditation self-declaration forms and avoid any potential issues with service provision.

HEIW have been working closely with Shared Services to advise all about pending enhanced service accreditation expirations, but were unaware of when this email was being sent out. On reflection, given the current pandemic and the recent news with COVID, as well as the workload in community pharmacy at this time, the submission deadline has been extended to 31st March 2022.

We understand and empathise fully with the demands on the workforce at present and do not wish to add additional workload to you at this time.

To submit Reaccreditation for any services you should:

  1. Log onto the NESA hub
  2. Select the Enhanced Service you wish to reaccredit in
  3. Submit your reaccreditation forms (which will automatically update shared services)

Please note: if your accreditation for Safeguarding Children and Young Adults Level 2 has expired you will need to re do this assessment prior to reaccrediting for any other services.
