The RPS Post-registration Foundation Pharmacist curriculum is now available for formal consultation on the RPS website.
There are different approaches to delivering post-registration education and training and the RPS Post-registration Foundation curriculum can be used to develop training programmes underpinned by the RPS Foundation Pharmacist Framework (2019).
The curriculum has been developed by the RPS Post-registration Foundation Pharmacist curriculum and assessment task and finish groups which included representatives from a wide range of sectors and geographies.
We invite you to feedback as an interested stakeholder to tell us if you have any comments on the content of the curriculum, its feasibility in terms of delivery, its relevance to all countries and sectors, and to help us understand how the curriculum may impact on different social groups and protected characteristics.
Once we have completed the consultation process, we anticipate the final curriculum will be launched in July 2021.
The full curriculum document will be hosted on the RPS website for a six week period and will close at 5pm on Friday 18th June 2021. Stakeholders are invited to comment via an online form or a downloadable word document. We will theme the comments and provide a summary of the changes that have resulted from this process.
